Artists, many of whom live or lived in or around New York City since the 1960s.

The Lincoln Center--home of the Metropolitan Opera, New York Philharmonic, New York City Opera, New York City Ballet and other world-renowned performing arts organizations--is also home of the List Fine Art Program founded by Albert and Vera List to expand the interest and participation of the visual arts at the Center and to broaden art awareness among audiences visiting Avery Fisher Hall and other parts of the facility, located on West 65th Street in New York.

Some of the artists represented in the exhibition include Terry Winters, Robert Mangold, Helen Frankenthaler, Jules Olitski, Donald Sultan, Joel Shapiro, Elizabeth Murray, Mark Di Suvero, Alex Katz, Dan Christensen, Nancy Graves and others.

"Today, not only do the best artists of our time frequently make prints, some of the most highly regarded artworks are prints."
