128 pages, sixty-eight works of art from fifty-four (54) museums, each selected by the directors of the lending museums in celebration of NAMOS funded by the Eli Foundation with the support of the IBM Corporation, Inc.  the exhibition toured nationally to the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, the Phoenix Art Museum, and the IBM Gallery in New York. All of the works of art are reproduced in color, each with didactic label text written by the museum directors of American Museums – Each work of art was selected by the lending directors.
